Oily skin NOT in for this season!

Hi again! I have to tell you about one of my best little make up secrets... for those of you out there who have oily skin and dont know what to do, I got the solution and you are going to love it! Its called the mattifying powder from Arbonne, really my favorite product from this brand, and even better it is colorless on the skin. I have really oily skin in my T-zone (nose and forehead) and when I discovered this I almost lost it! Its amazing, you put it on before your moisturizer and then you put a little bit after you are done applying your make up foundation.

I wanted to show how great this product is on myself but I didn't have oily skin when I wanted to take the picture so I grabbed Jake haha and told him to be my model. Plus he is a good example of a regular oily skin which is in the forehead. Look at the difference without the powder! the light goes directly to the shine, then with the powder it completely blocks it. The powder is $25 dollars and it is amazing it goes for a long time and you just need a little bit for those oily days. Hopefully you get a chance to try it   :)

The 7min-7step Smokey Eye Look!

The 7 step - 7 min SMOKEY EYE
1.Apply BLACK eyeshadow on the corner of the eye with a flat brush and blend it towards the middle.
2. With a blending brush apply BROWN eyeshadow on the top part where you applied the black one and work upwards till the brown dissipates.

3. In the inside of the eye lid apply GOLD eyeshadow with a sponge or q-tip, stopping right at the middle of the eye.
4. Turn the sponge or q-tip to the other side and apply a BRONZE or DUSTY color to the middle of the eyelid and blend with the BLACK/BROWN.

5. Apply a HIGHLIGHTER color under your eyebrow, it can be a shimmery color or white.
6. Apply BLACK liquid eyeliner just to the top of your eye, and then mascara. Then with a WHITE eye pencil fill the inside of your eye from corner to corner.

7. Apply BROWN eye pencil in the outer bottom of your eye from the outer corner to your tear duct. Then from your tear duct till the inner corner of the eye apply a WHITE eyeshadow and mascara in the bottom lashes, and DONE!

gotta try these products

So I bought 2 make up items this weekend! It is always so exciting to get new stuff and I can never wait to get home and try them on!
Jake and I went to provo mall to the movies and afterwards we were just walking around JCPenney where they have a new Sephora, and I got this eye shadow palette from Kat Von D. I first noticed the colors which are great for so many different looks and then the PRICE! It was just $24 ,  I mean we are talking about 8 eye shadow at 3 dollars each, that's a bargain! usually they are around 10-20 each!  this is a new brand but after trying them on I am going back for more, they are so pigmented and a little goes long ways. Maybe you recognize Kat Von D, she is from the TLC LA Ink tatto show.

And the Chanel black eye liner is a MUST! My mom bought it and showed it to me and I fell in love, It is the darkest black I have ever seen in my entire life! If you like applying the eyeliner in the inside of the eye you have to get this one. It is a little pricey I have to admit, $28, but way worth it!

Weekend look

ok so the weekend is finally here! Go for a more polished and finished look, I mean if you dont want to apply tons of make up everyday ---come on! is a weekend so there is no excuse! this is a good look for church or to go to a party, you can put less lipstick if you are not used to wearing dark colors, or just use your regular lipgloss... Have fun!

Im not a big fan of Kim Kardashian but I have to admit that her make up is almost- always impecable! she always comes out with great looks, and her looks fits really well latina skin tones and eyes :)
So this is my first post ever! I decided that blogging could be a fun way to keep doing what I love, Make up! I can share new do's, tips and photos of the works I have done.  I am very passionate about make up, I am always aware of the lattest trends for the seasons and I have so much fun applying it. Make up has been a passion for me since I can remember but have worked professionally in the make up industry for the last 3 years. I worked for MAC this past summer and it sure was a blast! Now I am back to school but sure want to keep doing this.
